Women's Fleece

• Polar Fleece:  Often referred to as just "fleece," polar fleece is a synthetic fabric known for its excellent insulation properties. It's made from polyester fibers that are tightly woven together to create a dense and plush texture. This unique structure traps air, which in turn helps retain body heat, making it an ideal choice for lightweight yet warm outerwear or layering.

   

• High-pile Fleece:  High pile fleece is also known as Sherpa fleece or fuzzy fleece.  It is easily spotted for its fluffy, plush look and feel that resembles sheepskin or wool.  It is exceptionally soft and warm but because of this may also be slightly bulkier than other fleece types.  It is best for colder weather.

   

• Performance Fleece:  This is a unique category of fleece that is often made with polyester and spandex blends for increased stretching and moisture-wicking properties.  As the name suggests, performance fleece apparel is designed for activities that require athletic performance where breathability, temperature regulation, and freedom of movement are key. 

   

• Microfleece:  Microfleece is a thin, lightweight option that is highly breathable and can help wick moisture away from the body.  It is ideal for layering or slightly chilly weather.  It is also a popular packable outerwear choice.

• Campshire Collection:  The North Face Campshire collection is known for being cozy with a relaxed fit.  It is a higher pile fleece than our other collections.
   
• Osito Collection:  Our Osito jackets are among our softest fleece outerwear.  They are a midweight option perfect for casual wear in cooler weather.  It is a great choice for around home or town.
   

• Canyonlands Collection:  For performance style fleece, look no further than our Canyonlands collection.  The jackets and hoodies are designed for active use and easy layering with a smooth feeling fabric.

   

• Shelbe Raschel Collection:  Unlike our other fleece collections, our Shelbe Raschel jackets are fleece-lined with a wind-resistant outer shell.  They are perfect for transitional seasons (spring and fall) and are available in several styles including a parka and a hoodie.
   
• Glacier Collection:  Our Glacier collection features microfleece with is a lightweight option for layering or transitional weather.  It is made from 100% recycled polyester, making it a sustainably-conscious choice.  
   
• Yumiori Collection:  Yumiori is a midweight fleece with a higher pile.  It is made from 100% recycled fleece and is part of our Circular Design initiative meaning it can be recycled into new gear at the end of its life.
