United States + Canada SMS Program Updated FAQ
SMS Text Updates from The North Face provide real-time information about flash sales, collaborations & special events to program members in Canada and the United States.
Customers in the United States can join the program by texting a keyword to our short code (84243). Customers in Canada can join the program by texting a keyword to our short code (84243). Opt-in messaging is available for both English- and French-speaking Canadians.
Customers who sign up will receive real-time updates on flash sales, collaborations & special events. New SMS opt-ins will also receive a $10 promo code for a discount on their next online purchase at thenorthface.com.
To join our SMS Text Update program and receive text messages from The North Face, you will need to text a keyword that to 84243.

Customer service can provide one additional code to a customer if the first does not work. Please reach out to Customer Service by emailing at tnfsupport@vfc.com or calling or texting (888) 863-1968.
To stop receiving text messages from The North Face, use your mobile phone and reply “STOP” in response to a text message from The North Face text messaging program or text “STOP” to 84243. You will then receive confirmation of your opt-out. This will only opt you out of the specific text messaging program associated with that phone number. You will remain opted into any other text messaging programs where you have enrolled.
84243 is the short code for The North Face. Short codes are five-or six-digit codes used by brands for marketing messages. Messages from The North Face to customers in the US or Canada will come from 84243.
How are texts regulated? In the US, SMS is regulated under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991, or TCPA. The TCPA was created to protect consumer privacy.
