When making these slippers, The North Face used a range of sustainable materials. For instance, the THERMOBALL™ technology is made from 100% recycled polyester. The upper in most models are made with 100% recycled P.E.T. ripstop with a non-PFC durable water-repellent finish. The most conscious outdoor slippers are the Base Camp Mules, which are a part of the Circular Design initiative. You can return them after you're done with them, and they will be disassembled and recycled.
