Ready, set, climb.
Test your limits as you go toe-to-toe with fellow climbers, tackling identical routes on a towering 45-foot wall with only deep water to break your fall. Climbers can register under the Open or Paraclimbing categories. Whether you’re a returning athlete or sending it for your first time, don’t miss your chance to leave it all on the wall.

The competition wall is for registered competitors only. There will be opportunities for the general public to climb onsite throughout the duration of the festival.
Amateur climbers are allowed to enter the competition. Please review the FAQ Athletes section for more details. Competition athletes should have a climbing ability level of 5.12+.
Food and drink concessions will be available onsite.

Specific details about the format of the competition will be provided and outlined on our Athlete registration page. We recommend visiting it for the most updated information.
You should bring the following:
As many climbing shoes and chalk bags as you want/require
Chalk for refills
Change of clothes, as many as you need
Food and water
ID for check-in
There are two judges per climber as well as a head judge (five total).
Bathrooms, showers to rinse and lockers are all located on-site.
There’s a place to change and dry off once you exit the water. If moving on to the next round, it’s recommended to bring a different pair of dry shoes and chalk to change into. While dropping into the water is inherently risky, there is a water safety team and medic on standby for any potential issues.
The climbs will range from 5.12+ to 5.13+/5.14- depending on round and division.
There are a few ways:

Competitors can down climb to a lower point, hang and drop.
Stairs on the backside of the wall are available.
An auto-belay may be available.
