Benjamin Mayforth

Ben is a climber with spina bifida who has achieved remarkable success in the world of paraclimbing. He is a two-time National Paraclimbing Champion and the first U.S. male to win back-to-back Paraclimbing World Cups.
Ben’s journey in climbing began in 2016, following a long and successful career in competitive adaptive sports. His unwavering discipline and work ethic have enabled him to push the limits of his own body and redefine what is physically possible.
Today, Ben leverages his extensive experience as an adaptive athlete to empower others. Through training camps and his work with the National Abilities Center, he teaches individuals with disabilities how to recreate and climb, helping them overcome their own obstacles.
