I was looking for a little dressier coat than my Levi jacket. I choose this jacket when I saw it on NF site. Since I been using my Levi for so long I was feeling for similarities. After receiving the Rapido. I've been wearing the jacket most of the time. It's stylish to wear to work, light and block the am chill. (not like my Levi). I notice there is a sleet in the back. Not on the product info. Other than the back sleet. This Rapido jacket is quickly my Levi replacement. I'd like to see another coat like this without the collar and closed back. (without the sleet) Yeah! That'll b cool.

I bought this because of the high visibility factor. I road and mountain bike and this is the most reflective jacket I have ever seen on the market. I wish it had a chest pocket that zips and adjustable Velcro wrist closures and for those design flaws I gave this jacket 4 stars. These jackets cost too much for lack of detail in design. Step it up NorthFace! I know you can do better and this could have been a perfect jacket had the normal designs been applied. At least it has a lifetime guarantee, and other than a few gripes I love it, but it should have cost about $50 bucks if you ask me.

I had the opportunity to visit my local The North Face store and try both the Cosmic Blue and Asphalt Grey jackets. As expected, these jackets fit true to size and feel great. However, the Asphalt Grey is 360-degree reflective whereas the Cosmic Blue is not. The Asphalt Grey also has a heavier feel than the Cosmic Blue. IMHO, they really are two different jackets and should be classified as such. Don't get me wrong, I like both jackets and will probably purchase both in the near future. But, I would not have been happy if I had purchased the Cosmic Blue online and discovered it was not 360-degree reflective. Just keep this in mind when deciding on a specific color.
