Delivering Essential Needs to Frontline Workers

April 20, 2020

As part of our efforts to leverage our global network and supply chain partners to aid those fighting the pandemic, The North Face is supporting The Renewal Workshop’s initiative to make general protection gowns for local workers involved in COVID-19 response in Oregon and Washington. As part of our $1 million COVID-19 response commitment through our social impact and advocacy platform, the Explore Fund, we are donating to the nonprofit HMB50.org, the organization contracting with The Renewal Workshop to manufacture gowns.

Gowns are handmade at The Renewal Workshop, packaged and shipped to healthcare professionals to wear.

The North Face and The Renewal Workshop have partnered over the last two years to manufacture renewed products to keep more items in circulation and out of landfills. During this crisis, we’ve used the Explore Fund donation to extend this partnership to support the pressing need for gowns.

We remain united to move the world forward.
