The North Face® Universal Collection
Inclusive outdoor equipment packed with accessible innovations.
Hi, I'm Mo Beck and this is the Universal One Bag, a sleeping bag designed to be easier for everybody.
Taking the zipper off of the sleeping bag makes it so easy to get in and out of, and you don't need to find a zipper toggle in the middle of the night.
My favorite feature on the One Bag is actually the wing design for closure because it's super comfy and it just feels like a nice hug at the end of the day.
The reason that the Universal One Bag is going to be great for everybody, not just athletes with disabilities, is because it's easier, comfier, and just a joy to use.

Quick Setup Guide
Hey, I'm Mo Beck, climber for The North Face, and here's how to set up the Universal Wawona 3 Tent.
We built this tent from the ground up based on universal design principles so that it serves the needs of every camper. Three equal-length poles, high-vis sleeves and easy-catch pole pockets make pitching the tent easy, even in the dark.
To start, find a good spot to pitch. Choose a flat, durable surface without sticks or stumps. Before you start, clear away any rocks or pine cones, and always remember to leave your site better than you found it.
Lay out the canopy of the tent. Make sure the doors face your chosen direction and consider the wind. Carefully insert each section of pole into the next, ensuring a secure fit.
Insert the poles into the tent sleeves carefully. All three tent poles are the same length, so it doesn't matter which pole goes into which sleeve. If setting up in the dark, use the reflective detailing to identify the openings of the tent sleeves.
The back two crossing poles should be inserted first. Once the poles have been threaded through the sleeves, feed them into the easy-catch pole pockets at the base of the tent canopy.
Now, you can insert the third pole in front of the tent, threading through the remaining sleeve and into the pole pockets. With the poles attached and the tent now tensioned, fasten the plastic clips on the tent canopy to the poles.
Before staking the corners of your tent, zip all tent doors. This will help achieve the right amount of tension when you stake in the corners. Use the stakes to secure the tent in place.
The stakes should be driven into the ground at a 45-degree angle facing inwards. Placing them diagonally will help keep the tent grounded even during windy days. For extra security on windy days, use guy lines.
This tent has a built-in rainfly, and you can connect it with the four buckles and two Velcro wraps, tensioning the webbing at the back of the tent.
Open the tent and place your gear inside. Stow the tent stuff sack somewhere safe, ready for packing the tent away again. Now you're ready to spend the night outside.
