We know you're packing for adventure, so we gave you the space to do that! Other luggage brands might be focused on bells and whistles, but we got down to the nitty gritty: room for your stuff. Our duffel bag style bags can hold plenty of extra essentials, from a garment bag to your rain coat to your hiking shoes. Whether you pack neatly with packing cubes, or you're more of a "stuff and sit" kind of packer, you'll be able to fit all you need into one bag this time. Exterior pockets even offer easy mid-flight accessibility to small items like snacks or chargers. The only thing you can't pack is the USB port to charge in!
Our softside duffels and totes offer more freeform than the polycarbonate shell of hardside spinner luggage. If you need to squish your bag onto a luggage rack or jostle everything around to fit one more souvenir or store your toiletry bag, a duffle makes it easy. Go ahead and pack that extra sweatshirt. There's space! And our soft-sided bags have no bulky spinner wheels or large telescoping handles to take up your precious size allowance. Every inch is dedicated to packable space. When it's time to go, compression straps and secure zippers keep things neatly in place to stop mid-flight shifting. Your bag will be just as comfortable to carry when you land as when you took off. There's a reason our travel bags are some of our best sellers, with durable water resistant fabrics and easy-to-use practical styles. Just grab a laptop bag for your personal item and you're ready to go.
Every travel pro knows that the best piece of luggage is one you can depend on for years. That's why durability is one of our top priorities. We've gone over our Base Camp Duffel luggage sets to make sure everything's ready for the trip of a lifetime. From reinforced grab handles to extra-strong stitching, these bags are ready to go through it all with you. They even have the lifetime warranty to prove it. Grab your bag and take it from check in to checkout with ease.
The maximum size allowed for your carry-on suitcase varies by airline. Make sure to check the guidelines for the airline you're using for every leg of your journey. Some bag requirements are measured in "linear inches," which means the size limit is based on the sum total of your bag's length + width + height. If your bag doesn't fit the size requirements for stow away carry-on you may be required to check in your luggage at the gate.
The standard carry-on size is 22” x 14” x 9” (56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm) for most major airlines. International flights or travel in other countries may have different requirements. It’s best to check with your airline before arriving at the airport.
Pack your bag as it's going to be packed for the trip. (If you're taking hard-shell or hardside carry-on luggage, you can measure the case while it's empty.) Set your bag on a flat surface. Measure from the bottom of the bag to the top, from one side to the other, and from the back to the front. Include the wheels and handle in your measurement. These are your three measurements that you can check against your airline's size requirements.
Yes, the wheels and handle are both included when measuring the size of your luggage.
When passing through a Canadian or international airport, you must keep restrictions in mind for your travel bag. You are usually allowed one quart-sized bag of liquids, aerosols, gels, creams or pastes which have to be packed in travel size containers of 3.4 ounces or smaller. Medications and baby formula are the exceptions to this rule. You can also pack clothes, electronics, and solid food items. Check the country of travels’ guidelines to be sure.
Some airlines impose a weight restriction on carry-on luggage while others don't. The weight limit can range from 15.4 lbs/7 kg to 51 lbs/23 kg so be sure to double check before you head to the airport.
