EXPLORE FUND GRANT PROCESS
The EXPLORE FUND provides grants to organizations that connect people to the outdoors and support outdoor exploration, with youth as a primary focus. To be considered for an Explore Fund grant, applicants must be a nonprofit organization.
The North Face is honored to have the opportunity to support the extraordinary work of dedicated nonprofit organizations working to connect people with the outdoors. Explore Fund grants support nonprofit organizations working in partnership with The North Face; groups that are nominated by The North Face vendor partners and select internal business units; and through an annual open grant application cycle. Typical awards are between $1,000 and $5,000. The Explore Fund is a highly competitive grants program and a limited number are awarded each year.
Open grant applications are evaluated generally against annually updated funding priorities, and specifically as to program impact, design, organizational capacity and alignment to the mission and funding goals of The North Face.
Grant applications can be submitted through our ELIGIBILITY AND APPLICATION PAGE during the grant application window. The next grant cycle will open in the Spring of 2016.
