The square-cut bag is designed specifically to accommodate boots and a backpack for when space is tight and rest is an urgent necessity. The internal carbon fibre poles mean you won’t feel claustrophobic when inside the bag. And the two-way zip allows venting from the top of the bivy. It's a surprisingly livable shelter.
