XPLR Pass Trail Days FAQ - 2024
What to Bring?
- Hiking or trail running shoes or boots
- Comfortable backpack with your day’s supplies:
- Beanie and light gloves for possible chilly spring day
- A down jacket or warm fleece for the morning
- Rain jacket, pants and hat for possible afternoon showers
- Baseball hat, sunglasses and sunscreen
- Change of clothes and extra socks
- Reusable water bottle and snacks for the hike (1-2 hours of hiking depending on your group)
What to Expect?
FOOD, DRINKS, AND ACTIVITIES:
We will have a fresh and healthy lunch following the hike, drinks, and music to enjoy before heading home. If you have food allergies please list them in the requested form during registration. Please bring snacks and water for before and during your hike. Water bottles can be refilled at the trailhead.
HIKE:
Hike options vary from 2 miles to 5 miles and are moderate intensity level. You will find rocks, stumps, uneven surfaces–all the things we love about the outdoors.
Do I need prior hike experience?
No, we will accommodate all experience levels with different groups, distances and difficulty. Exploration is for all!
Who will guide the hike?
The North Face athletes, industry experts and professional guides will be leading each hike.
How many People will be in my group?
Each hiking group will be 6–10 people; we expect about 100 people at each event. (Lots of new friends!)
Will there be cell reception?
You’ll have service at most locations, but this is not guaranteed through the entire hike. All guides will have radios.
Are Pets Allowed?
No. As much as we love our four-legged friends, they all need to stay at home.
Is there a minimum age to attend?
The minimum age to register for this event is 18.
Is there transportation to the event?
Yes, we will be providing transportation to and from the event from a specified location in the event city. Transportation will be provided through a coach bus or a luxury van line. RSVP will be required.
Ground transportation will be direct between pick-up point in stated City of Event and location of Event.
Do I need to RSVP for Transportation?
During the registration process there is an option for “transportation to and from the event.” We highly recommend choosing “YES”.
If you have already registered and would like to change your elected transportation option you can message us from the registration page or click “contact us” on your event email confirmation.
Can I drive myself to the event?
We strongly encourage you to join our transportation option but understand things come up. Yes, you can drive yourself to the venue. Details on the location will be emailed to the selected participants for each location once you confirm your attendance.
