1. Eligibility.

The North Face Global Climbing Day Challenge Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is open only to legal U.S. residents who meet the following criteria:

Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all respects. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

2. Sweepstakes Period.

The Sweepstakes begins on August 7, 2021 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) and ends on August 21, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. ET ("Sweepstakes Period"). AnyRoad, Inc.'s computer is the official clock for this Sweepstakes.

3. Promotion Entry.

Go to www.thenorthface.com/walls. ("Website") Complete the form wherein you register for a Global Climbing Day event or otherwise indicate your intention to participate in outdoor climbing or some other activity in celebration of Global Climbing Day on Saturday, August 21, 2021. (While encouraged, actual participation in a rock-climbing event or other activity on Global Climbing Day is NOT required; nor will your decision whether [or not] to do so in any way affect your ability to enter the Sweepstakes or your chances of winning a prize in same. IF YOU DO CHOOSE TO PARTICIPATE IN A ROCK CLIMBING EVENT OR OTHER PHYSICAL ACTIVITY ON AUGUST 21, 2021, IT IS YOUR SOLE RESPONSIBILITY TO CONFIRM THAT YOU ARE IN SUITABLE PHYSICAL CONDITION BEFORE ENGAGING IN ANY SUCH ACTIVITY.

When completing the registration form, be sure to include your name, e-mail address, size and preferred gender (male or female) of hoodie and T-shirt (if your entry is selected and you are a potential prize winner; see below) and indicate whether (or not) you are a member of the XPLR Pass Program. If you are not a member, follow the prompts to sign up for the Program. If you are not a member and do not choose to sign up for the Program, you CANNOT enter the Sweepstakes.

Receipt of registration form will be acknowledged but such acknowledgment does not constitute a representation by Sponsor as to entry in Sweepstakes and is not otherwise binding upon Sponsor.

IN ORDER TO SUBMIT THE REGISTRATION FORM, YOU MUST CHECK THE BOX INDICATING THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES. YOU ARE STRONGLY ADVISED TO CAREFULLY REVIEW THE OFFICIAL RULES BEFORE SUBMITTING THE REGISTRATION FORM.

All entries must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. ET on August 21, 2021.

3. Additional Restrictions on Entry.

Limit of one (1) entry per person. Multiple Entries received from any person will void all such Entries and may result in revocation of membership in XPLR Pass Program. Entries generated by a script, macro, or other automated means or by any means that subverts the entry process will be disqualified.

Proof of inputting information at the Website is not considered proof of receipt of same or proof of entry.

Registrations/entries that are late, lost, incomplete, garbled, damaged, corrupted, jumbled, misdirected, improperly recorded (or not recorded at all) or unintelligible are void and will not be accepted.

If you enter via mobile device, you will be responsible for wireless Internet access and other charges of wireless carrier. Wireless Internet access is not available in all areas.

Sponsor shall resolve disputes as to identity of entrant based on its determination in its sole discretion of the Authorized Account Holder of the e-mail address provided on entry form. (Authorized Account Holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.)

4. Random Drawing.

Winners will be randomly selected on or about August 24, 2021 from among all eligible Entries received. The drawing will be conducted by Sponsor whose decisions are final on all matters related to the Sweepstakes.

Prizes, Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) and Odds.

First Place Prize (25) – IC Pullover Hoodie in Aviator Navy. ARV: $60 each.

Second Place Prize (75) – Short Sleeve IC T-shirt. ARV: $30 each.

TOTAL ARV OF ALL PRIZES: $3750.00.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible Entries received.

Limit of one (1) prize per family, household or address. No prize substitution except due to prize unavailability as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion and only then for prize of comparable value. Prize is not redeemable or exchangeable for cash. Any applicable taxes on prize are the sole responsibility of winner. Prize is not transferable without the prior consent of Sponsor which may be granted or withheld in its sole discretion and without liability of any kind. Prize may differ from images of same in Sweepstakes advertising, with Sponsor disclaiming any and all liability in conjunction therewith. Prize will only be shipped to a street address in the (50) United States or the District of Columbia. All unspecified expenses in conjunction with prize acceptance and use are winner’s sole responsibility. Prizes may differ from images of same in Sweepstakes advertising, with Sponsor disclaiming any and all liability in conjunction therewith.

6. Winner Notification.

Potential winners will be notified by e-mail. To remain eligible for Sweepstakes, potential winner must still be a member of XPLR Pass at time of winner notification.

Potential winners may be required to complete, sign and return within five (5) days of date of notification a Declaration of Eligibility, Liability Release and a Publicity Release (where lawful). If Declaration is not timely returned (if applicable); prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable; potential winner is found to be ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules; or potential winner declines the prize for any reason, such potential winner will be disqualified, with the prize being forfeited. If the prize is forfeited, no compensation will be provided and an alternate winner may be selected from all remaining eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.

7. Releases.

By entering, you, indemnify, release and agree to hold harmless The North Face, a division of VF Outdoor, LLC; AnyRoad Inc.; rock-climbing gyms partnering with Sponsor in offering Global Climbing Day events; each of their respective parent companies, divisions, subsidiaries and affiliated companies; and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders and representatives (collectively, the "Released Parties") from and against any and all claims, expenses and liability, including but not limited to negligence, damages, or injury of any kind to persons and property arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes; and acceptance or use or misuse of prize (if applicable).

Except where prohibited, acceptance of prize constitutes each winner’s consent to Sponsor’s and its designees use of each winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration or review/approval of any kind.

8. Conditions of Participation.

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, pandemic/epidemic, materials shortage, civil commotion, riot, strike, natural disaster of any kind or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, to the extent feasible, Sponsor shall endeavor to conduct the Sweepstakes and make the prizes available in a manner which Sponsor determines in its sole discretion is fair, appropriate and consistent with these Official Rules. Notification of such action by Sponsor will be posted on the Website.

SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION TO DISQUALIFY ANY INDIVIDUAL SPONSOR FINDS TO BE TAMPERING WITH THE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES OR TO BE DEFRAUDING SPONSOR AS TO PARTICIPATION IN SAME OR TO BE ACTING IN VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES. HOWEVER, DISQUALIFICATION SHALL NOT REPRESENT THE SOLE REMEDY AVAILABLE TO SPONSOR UNDER SUCH CIRCUMSTANCES.

Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules in a given circumstance shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
