Choose down if you want the warmest, lightest and cosiest jacket for crisp, dry winter days. Goose down traps heat incredibly well and packs down small for travel. Choose synthetic insulation if you live in a rainy or damp climate. Synthetic fibres dry very quickly and will continue to keep you warm even if the jacket gets completely wet.

A slightly roomier fit ensures you can comfortably wear thick knitted jumpers or fleece mid-layers underneath without feeling restricted across the shoulders.
