Packable, 800-fill ProDown™ unisex trousers for mountaineering
Description
On technical climbs in freezing conditions, you need the warmth, but you don’t need the weight. Loaded with 800-fill ProDown™ insulation with a waterproof FUTURELIGHT™ overlay on the areas that are most likely to get wet, the unisex Summit Breithorn Trousers offer both. They deliver high-level warmth and compressibility while retaining their loft, even in wet conditions. There are articulated knees for mobility. We’ve also added full-length side zips to keep you cool and dry while allowing you to get in and out of the trousers without removing your boots, crampons or skis. And if things get too hot and sweaty, you can pack these lightweight trousers into their pocket to keep them safely out the way. That’s not all – recycled materials make them better for nature.
- The fit is based on men’s sizing and for wearing over a baselayer. Men should consider sizing up to wear over a shell; women should consider sizing down one size based on the intended use
- 800-fill ProDown™ retains its loft in wet conditions and offers high-level warmth and compressibility
- Pertex® Y Fuse provides increased downproof and water beading properties of the fabric
- Non-PFC DWR finish for added water repellency
- Weather-resistant ripstop overlay at the seat, knees and cuffs for added protection
