These boots were a perfect gift for my fiancee's first hike on the Appalachian trail. I was happily surprised that she was blister free and absolutely dry (gaiter get the assist) as we hiked in the downpour of Independence Day weekend. She claims the boots had no break in time at all and she felt sturdy and confident crossing over some of the steep wet rocks with 35-40 lbs of gear. Thank you for adding a little bit of comfort to the love of my life's first true backpacking adventure.

I live in Nova Scotia where we just got our first bit of snow. This is my first time wearing these in the snow. I bought these for work so I would not have wet/cold feet all day and have to change my shoes everytime going in and out.

It is -11 here today and even colder with the wind chill. Between the few puddles and bit of snow I've walked in my toes are frozen and my feet are wet. (From the door to my car and back)

Not what I expected when I paid almost 130$ on a pair of shoes. This is my first time paying that much for winter shoes but I wanted comfort and not have to change my shoes everytime I went inside and out at work.

I own quite a bit of north face gear and thought these would be well made and hold up to being warm just like their sweaters but far from it very disappointed...

Comments about TheNorthFace WOMEN'S STORM WATERPROOF:

I bought my first pair September 2014 and within a matter of days went back to the store to buy the exact pair because they were so comfortable. I did not want to risk not being able to find these exact shoes again. I recently pushed a car out of the snow and my feet stayed dry and warm. The tread has great traction and cushion. I just ordered a 3rd pair just to make sure I always have this well made shoes. Love love love them!

Love the quality of these shoes oh one drawback the coating on the shoes toe seems to make them tighter in the toe box, would buy/ try half size larger next time. North Face quality all around !

I bought those shoes for walking in the snow and hiking and they are simply amazing. My feet stay dry, they have amazing traction and are very comfortable. They make me want to go out for more walks!!! I love them so much I bought a pair for my daughter who's in college as I know she walks a lot. I find they're on the narrow side. My feet are narrow and usually, i have issues because of that - but not with these shoes. A friend also tried them on and although they were her size they were too narrow for her. I recommend ordering a half a size bigger if your feet are not narrow.

        Rocking The North Face

Comments about TheNorthFace WOMEN'S STORM WATERPROOF:

I wear my storms to work five days a week 10 hours a day. I bought my last pair of North Face so long ago I can't think back that far. It's definitely been more than 6 yrs. Co workers have commented that they're looking a little beat down. Then I explain to them that they're still in great shape. "Look at all the tread left on these shoes and they aren't torn anywhere. They're just permanently dirty (light color). They're still the most comfortable shoes I own and full of character. I'm gonna rock these North Face until the sole falls off and I don't think that's ever gonna happen". LOL. Obviously I broke down. Im putting my last pair in the Hall of Fame when I finally decide to stop rocking 'em !!

Most of my shopping for my wife involves two trips: one to buy, the second to return. With the Storm she said it was the best shoe she ever had. No return trip but I did buy her a second pair on-line!

I wear an 8 running shoe but need an 8.5 in these. The heel seems to run wide, but I have a sort of narrow foot. If they were the right size I can tell that they would be way comfortable.

These were comfortable right out of the box. Great traction on rocky, hilly terrain. I am so pleased I have ordered another pair.
