I purchased these tights for a sightseeing trip to New York. I am accustomed to year-round summertime in Florida, and I was worried about handling the cold. The tights are super comfortable and kept me warm. My only complaint is that they are very long on me, but I am on the shorter side at 5'2". I rolled them up at the ankles and my boots covered it. Very happy with my purchase!

First, I bought the expedition for men as a gift for my husband in the store. It turns out I tried his and I felt in love with them right away, but they didn't have the women's version so I order them on line in the store and the service was fantastic! My tights arrived just in time in great shape and with a certificate of authenticity (they are guaranteed for life) and they are delicious! I tend to be very cold and this is just great for the cold weather in Seattle or even in Boston, I wear them as tights with a nice sweater and boots. As a comment, they come too large, I am 5'3 and they go to my toes, but if you pull them up it gives a modern look.

Bought the zip top in local North Face store (Victor, NY) that goes with these tights, and find both to be exceedingly comfortable to wear around the house and warm as an outdoor layer for hiking, skiing, etc. Hope that you will be getting more of size small/black in the tights to go with the zip top I already purchased for my daughter-in-law. Great products, as always.
