I use these pants for skiing and snowboarding every weekend. They have held up great. I got onee small rip as a result of someone skiing into me and there ski caught my pants but for the size of the collision the damage is minimal and the rip has stayed the same size.

I bought these pants for my boyfriend for his birthday, and he loves them! When he tried them on he said they were so flexible and warm. He is a HUGE skiier so I knew I had to get him only the best!!

I really like the fact that i could get ski/snowboard pants that don't drag on the ground at my heels. The shorter length was ideal, and the gore tex was what I've been wanting in lightweight waterproof pants. All in all, very pleased!!

The "fit guide" suggested that 70% of people my size, 5'9 160lb, were satisfied with the medium size. So I ordered the medium with regular length. When I tried them on, they were loose around the waist and required tightening the side waist band adjusters to the point where I was running out of enough Velcro to keep it secure. Also, the length was a good 2-3 inches beyond my heel. With ski boots on it scrunched up at the base. With my normal winter shoes that I would use to get to the lodge, the cuff would surely drag on the ground. Therefore, I had to return them. Unfortunately, TNF didn't have any size small pants left. I wound up going with a different brand altogether. It's a shame because I liked the look of the pant and think they would have served me well. The outer material was a little thinner and softer than I had expected, and I wonder how durable it would be. The pants that these were to replace had thicker material that lasted me well over ten years. I believe the insulation would be just enough to keep me warm without being overly bulky.

Wore them skiing in Mammoth. Excellent mobility while not too baggy. Kept me warm all day.
