Comments about TheNorthFace FURNACE 20/-7:

Stuff sack is pretty big, but compression is possible down to a much smaller 8" cylinder. Otherwise a great bag for the price and temperature rating.

    Comments about TheNorthFace FURNACE 20/-7:

Nice warm bag for those cold nights early and late in the season. I like to be picky in my reviews to help people out. I am a very picky sleeper. I do like all the room in the shoulders so I can roll around. I got the tall because I am 6 foot and it is comfortable. I also got my girlfriend the women's version oppositely handed so they zip together. The only cons I find with it are the zipper and the velcro. The zipper does snag often and the velcro scratches my face once in a while when it is not fully zipped on those warmer nights. It does not pack extremely small but it works. I wish it would come with a mesh bag. You should not store bags in the compression sack. I just bought a pillow case and thats where it spends time in my closet.

Bought this for my grandson. He is going out west into the mountains for a 10 day hiking trip. This is perfect for him. Light enough to carry and very warm.

      Comments about TheNorthFace FURNACE 20/-7:

I purchased this bag for backpacking the Appalachian Trail and it is exceptional. The quality of the bag is great and the material is very comfortable. I would recommend buying the 0 degree bag if you plan on camping in sub 20 temperatures but I put a liner in this bag and was warm throughout. This bag packs into the bottom of my Gregory savant 58 and is highly compressible with amazing loft. Highly recommended!!!

I took this bag on a week long backpacking trip down into the Canyon and through the Narrows of Zion National Park. My body was not aware of the temperature each night and morning until I was out of my bag. I love it!
