After your run, listen to some great music and load up on food and refreshments. A true family event, the Finish Line Festival offers free samples, product trials, demonstrations and prizes from The North Face, GORE-TEX®, Repreve, Sierra Nevada, Olomomo, Epic Bar, Tailwind and more!

Gear Bags

All participants have the option to leave personal belongings and extra gear at the Finish Festival Area while running.

A perforated bag tag is provided at the bottom of your race bib. Please bring your bag, labeled with the provided tag, to the Gear Check booth before the start of the race. Event staff will place it in a secure location for pickup post-race.

Drop bags on-course are ONLY allowed for GORE-TEX® 50 Mile participants at locations specified in the course guides. Please see the course guide for additional gear check information.

Stop by to meet the Ultramarathon Man himself.

See the event weekend schedule for times.

Karno Kids Race

For those too young to enter the Endurance Challenge, the Karno Kids’ Race provides a fun, supervised way for kids to join in the action on race day.

Dean Karnazes will lead the way on a 1K course alongside some notable characters, including Elsa, Olaf, SpongeBob SquarePants, Kevin the Minion, Buzz Lightyear, Big Bird and Elmo, to name a few.

Registration is free and parents can sign up race day at the Karno Kids’ booth. See the Event Weekend Schedule above for race times.

All kids’ race participants receive a medal and free finisher photo from Ultra Race Photos, the Official Race Photographer for the series. Parents must include a legible email address to receive the free photo code.

Food and Beverage

All GORE-TEX® 50 Mile, 50K and Marathon participants will receive a free meal ticket on their race bib, redeemable at the Catering booth. Food for spectators, other participants and Sunday participants can be purchased at the Concessions booth.

A Beer Garden will be provided for spectators and participants to enjoy an adult beverage after the race. The first beer is FREE for all race participants.

It is important to note that at certain Endurance Challenge events, beer service and sales may not be permitted or may have certain restrictions due to state laws.

Please bring cash if you plan to purchase additional beer or food.

GORE-TEX® Runner Recovery

In the GORE-TEX® Runner Recovery area, participants can refuel and rejuvenate their muscles with a free massage, ice baths and test the latest products in Rainwear.

Finish Chute

We ask all spectators to stay out of the immediate finishing area to allow the runners ample space to slow down and recover. Family and friends may greet their runner after he or she has exited the finish chute.

Within the finish chute, runners will find a smorgasbord of the usual post-run fare like bananas, oranges, energy bars, electrolyte drink, snacks and more.

Weather

Weather in Marin County this time of year is generally cold, with an average high of 57 degrees and an average low of 47 degrees and an increased chance of rain. Please be prepared and bring the appropriate clothing and accessories.
