There is no cost to join our loyalty program, XPLR Pass. It is free to join and open for residents of the US and Canada.
XPLR Pass members earn 1 point for every $1 spent online at thenorthface.com and at The North Face-owned stores and outlets in the U.S. and Canada. Every 100 points earned gets you a $10 reward.
You can now earn up to 100 points per calendar year for all the ways you love to explore:
Refer a friend (25 points): Exploration is always better with friends. Share your personal referral link (found in your member dashboard) up to four times per calendar year.
Download The North Face iOS mobile app (10 points): Get our free iOS app and earn 10 points. Limited to one download earning per member, even if app is deleted and re-installed, U.S. only
Bring a reusable bag when you shop in stores (10 points): Heading to your local The North Face store or outlet to gear up? Grab your own reusable bag and earn 10 points, in the U.S. and Canada up to two times per calendar year.
Check-in at a U.S. National Park or National Monument (5 points): Exploring nature’s most iconic places? While you’re snapping those breathtaking pics, check-in with our iOS mobile app to earn 5 points. Earn points once per location, per month; U.S. only.
Check-in at The North Face stores and outlets (5 points): While you’re visiting us in store, check-in with our iOS mobile app for an extra easy 5 points. Earn points once per location, per month; U.S. only.
Participate in member surveys (5 points): Let us know what you think on select surveys and earn 5 points. Available at The North Face’s sole discretion.

Did you sign up in store or at an event? If so, you will need to complete your XPLR Pass membership and create an account online using the same email address you provided when you joined in store. Once you’ve created your account online, follow the steps below to check your point balance.
Sign in to your XPLR Pass account on thenorthface.com or in our iOS mobile app.
If you’re on thenorthface.com, head to “My Account” and select the “XPLR Pass” tab. This is your XPLR Pass member dashboard. You can always find your point balance, point activity history, reward balance and other ways to earn points.
If you’re on our mobile app and signed in, your current point balance will appear on your welcome screen.
Your point balance is converted to rewards three times a year (in March, June and October). Rewards are issued in increments of $10 and up to $50 (or equal to 500 points earned) per reward issuance window as shown below.

We’ll send you an email to let you know when your reward is issued. From there, you can save your reward to your mobile wallet for safekeeping or access it later from your XPLR Pass dashboard.

You can use your rewards to gear up at The North Face-owned stores, outlets or online at thenorthface.com. Rewards are valid for 11 months.
Your reward contains a 19-digit card number and 4-8 digit PIN. You will need both of these to redeem.
To redeem your reward online, sign in to your account before or during checkout, and enter your reward card number and pin on the payment page.
To redeem in store or at an outlet, show your card number and PIN during checkout to a store associate.
You can use your reward on The North Face product carried at The North Face-owned stores, outlets or online at thenorthface.com. Rewards cannot be redeemed to purchase gift cards. For additional details, see our Terms and Conditions.
Rewards are valid for 11 months after issuance.
Your 10% off discount is only valid at thenorthface.com and must be redeemed within the first 60 days of becoming a member. It cannot be combined with other offers or promotions. Exclusions apply. See Terms.
If you signed up in store or at an outlet, you will need to create an XPLR Pass member account online using the same email you provided when you joined in store. Once you’ve created your account, you’ll be able to access your member dashboard (and so much more).
Your gear should be as tough as you are. As an XPLR Pass member, you get to put your new gear to the test and see how it performs. If it isn’t right for you—return it within 60 days of purchase.
Excludes The North Face Outlet purchases. You must provide your original receipt to initiate a return. Returned product must show reasonable wear from limited-use as intended. Each member is eligible for this benefit twice per calendar year and can return up to $1,200 MSRP per year on up to 4 items.
