JAKE BLAUVELT
SNOWBOARDER
Jake Blauvelt is one of those people who seem to make everything they do look easy. But get to know him and you realize it’s thanks to some serious athleticism and a hearty work ethic. Blauvelt came up through the competition circuit, making a name for himself when he won the US Open slopestyle in 2004, but it was when he turned his attention to natural terrain that his career really hit overdrive. With a smooth style, an eye for creative lines, and an addiction to sending off of natural features, Blauvelt has stacked some fantastic video parts over the years, including his edits in Snowboarder Magazine’s “Resolution” and “SFD”. Not content to follow the predetermined industry path, he has also taken the helm of his own projects, producing his own project called “Naturally” in 2013.
