X-Dome™

Very often, the key to footwear performance boils down to energy return. The North Face X-Dome technology was devised with this principle in mind and has quickly become a centerpiece for our multisport styles. Rooted in the shoe's heel, X-Dome consists of two crisscrossed components forming the top of a dome that is neither rigid nor overly pliable.

X-Dome™ functions as a spring that both cushions during the foot plant and propels the foot into subsequent stride stages.
