The North Face stands behind the quality of everything we sell and hope you’re happy with your gear. If you’re unsatisfied for any reason, return or exchange your merchandise by simply sending back your item(s) or bring your gear to any of our retail stores. We gladly accept returns of any unworn, unwashed, unused merchandise.
In-store purchases must be returned or exchanged at one of our retail stores. All returns or exchanges are accepted within a year of purchase. The North Face does not refund items without a receipt. In lieu of a refund, you can either receive a merchandise credit (Gift Card), or exchange your item(s) for something else.
Returns/Exchanges by Mail
If you prefer to use your own shipping method, or have used the packing slip as a liner for your birdcage, simply pack the item(s) in a box, and write us a letter letting us know your name, physical address, phone number, what you’re returning, and what you’d like to do (exchange, or receive a merchandise credit). Returns by mail are generally processed within three business days of receipt. Refunds will be credited with the original form of payment. Please allow one billing cycle for credit card refunds to appear on your statement. To expedite an exchange, place an order online and return the unwanted merchandise for a credit.

Gift Return
Didn’t get exactly what you wanted? No problem. The North Face will exchange or issue a merchandise credit for item(s) without a receipt. Simply return the item(s) with a letter containing your name, physical return address, phone number, what you are returning, and what you’d like to do (exchange, or receive a merchandise credit). Mail your return to The North Face Returns at 3357 Southpark Place, Grove City, OH 43123. Your return will be processed as quickly as possible.
Lifetime Warranty and Repairs
For 40 years, outdoor athletes have trusted The North Face products to protect them from extreme conditions. Always striving to build the best possible products backed by our warranty, all merchandise featured online and in our retail stores carry a lifetime warranty, enabling athletes to Never Stop Exploring™. If you purchase merchandise with defects in workmanship or materials, even after extended use, we’ll repair the product, without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. Our lawyers told us we should tell you that this warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use. Damage not covered under warranty will be repaired for a reasonable rate and a fee will be charged for return shipping. All shipping to Warranty must be pre-paid and insured. The North Face cannot be liable for lost in-bound packages. California State law requires that products accepted for repair be clean. Charges will be assessed if cleaning is necessary.
