Merchandise Coordinator - Field
Description
As a member of the Marketing Team, the Merchandise (Field) Coordinator, will be managing the visual and merchandising presentations in The North Face retail stores and wholesale accounts. This includes regularly scheduled store visits to work with and train staff. Some of your primary duties include:
Serving The North Face retail stores, accounts, sales representatives and vendors by communicating merchandising guidelines and presentation standards.
Managing shop in shop project records. Ensuring complete and accurate records of each shop in shop project as regards to items, details, and project costs.
Assisting with set-up of presentation prototypes, shops, consumer displays, and market/sales meeting presentations. Helping to set-up key in store project prototypes and presentations. Ensuring project prototypes are set to standard and on time.
Establishing interaction and relationships with all The North Face Retail stores and specified wholesale accounts.
Managing and taking part in merchandising and visual presentation in all Retail stores and specified wholesale accounts per corporate direction.
Training store staff in product, merchandising, fixture usage and visual presentation.
Performing these and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
We are looking for an individual with a BA/BS degree in marketing, visual merchandising and a minimum of 3 years of related professional experience. Familiarity with in store visual merchandising/display work or comparable in store merchandise presentation experience is needed. Strong PC skills (MS Office, Lotus 1-2-3) is required. Requires 100% travel to other locations and retailer locations within a designated territory and the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
