Aurélien Ducroz

Bio:

Born in 1982 in the valley of Chamonix, Aurélien began his career in alpine skiing and as a youth was part of the French National Ski Jump Team for five years. Searching for new sensations, he tried his hand at freeriding when he was 21 years old. An unknown on the freeride scene and the World Tour circuit at the time, he surprised all with a third place finish in Whistler (Canada), part of the World Cup Tour, in his first year of competition. That same season he reached the first step of the podium at the World Cup finals in Kirkwood (USA), which placed him third on the overall World rankings. He currently holds the title of freeride vice-champion on the ISFA Ski Freeride World Tour classifications, winter 2004-2005.
