Discover your Definition of Endurance
Endurance comes in all distances.
Find yours.
In 2007, The North Face Endurance Challenge inspired over 1,300 athletes to seek their own definition of endurance. For some, endurance was defined as they skipped over rocky bluffs looking down on the Potomac River. For others, it came while digging deep for inner strength on another steep, fern-lined uphill above Seattle. One woman found it in Des Moines, as she dedicated her run to her husband in Iraq. At The North Face Endurance Challenge Championship in San Francisco, eventual champions Uli Steidl and Lizzy Hawker pushed themselves to new levels of endurance while running against some of the most talented ultra-athletes in the world.
In 2008, The North Face Endurance Challenge offers many more opportunities for runners to explore endurance and we hope you will join us.

The team—which includes past and present U.S. national 50-kilometer and 50-mile champions as well as winners of some of the planet's toughest 100-mile mountain events —epitomizes the essence of exploring the body's limits, and has tackled countless ultra marathons.
