How will I receive a Gift Card/eGift Card?

Gift Cards are shipped individually, via free FedEx SmartPost. eGift Cards are emailed within 24 hours of purchase, or can be emailed on a selected date.

How can I use a Gift Card/eGift Card?

These can be used in combination with a credit card, and multiple Gift Cards/eGift Cards can be used at once. To redeem online, enter the unique Card number and PIN at checkout. To redeem at The North Face® Retail Store, bring in the Gift Card, or print a copy of the eGift Card, and hand it to sales associate at checkout.

Hassle-Free Return Policy

The North Face® stands behind the quality of everything we sell and hope you’re happy with your gear. If you’re unsatisfied for any reason, return your merchandise by going to http://www.thenorthface.com/returns, or bring your gear to any of The North Face® retail stores. Merchandise must be purchased at The North Face® retail stores or at thenorthface.com to qualify for returns. All returns are accepted within a year of purchase. The North Face® does not refund items without a receipt.

Return Item(s) for a Refund If you purchased an item at thenorthface.com and want to return it for a full refund, click this link: http://www.thenorthface.com/returns and follow the instructions. When we receive your returned item(s) we will refund the original method of payment. Received returns are generally processed within three business days of receipt. Please allow one billing cycle for credit card refunds to appear on your statement.

Return Item(s) for Online Credit If you prefer to receive an online credit to purchase the same product in a different size/color, or want a completely different product, click this link: http://www.thenorthface.com/returns and follow the instructions. Received returns are generally processed within three business days of receipt.

How Do I Use My Online Credit? Once we have received your returned item(s) and added the credit to your account you are able to apply the credit to your order. To do this, log in to your account on thenorthface.com and check out as normal. During the checkout process you can apply as much of your credit as you like.

How to Send Us Your Return After you have completed your online return you will be prompted to print your packing slip. This packing slip will provide us with all the details we need to expedite your return. Just place this form in the box with the item(s) you are returning. The $7.00 shipping fee will be deducted from the amount credited to your account. If you do not have the mailing label from the original packing slip please use a signature required service such as FedEx or UPS to send your return back to us. Please do not use USPS. If you choose to use USPS, The North Face® cannot guarantee delivery of your package.

What If I Don’t Have My Order Number? If you don’t have your order number or you received the item as a gift, please contact Customer Service so we can help you to get the order number.

When Will I Get Credit for My Return? Received returns are generally processed within three business days of receipt. Please allow one billing cycle for credit card refunds to appear on your statement.

Can I Return Items Online that I Bought In The North Face® Retail Store? No. In-store purchases must be returned at one of our The North Face® retail stores.

Can I Return Items Online or in The North Face® Retail Store purchased from an authorized dealer? Sorry, no. The North Face® item(s) purchased at an authorized dealer must be returned to the same dealer, and can not be accepted at The North face® retail stores, or online at thenorthface.com.

Lifetime Warranty and Repairs For 40 years, outdoor athletes have trusted The North Face® products to protect them from extreme conditions. Always striving to build the best possible products backed by our warranty, all merchandise featured online and in our retail stores carry a lifetime warranty, enabling athletes to Never Stop Exploring™. If you purchase merchandise with defects in workmanship or materials, even after extended use, we’ll repair the product, without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. Please send all products for warranty evaluation to The North Face Warranty Department at 14450 Doolittle Drive, San Leandro, CA 94577.

Our lawyers told us we should tell you that this warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use. Damage not covered under warranty will be repaired for a reasonable rate and a fee will be charged for return shipping. All shipping to Warranty must be pre-paid and insured. The North Face® cannot be liable for lost in-bound packages. California State law requires that products accepted for repair be clean. Charges will be assessed if cleaning is necessary.

There’s no need to grab wrapping paper or tape, we offer gift boxes in a variety of sizes that will get any athlete’s attention. Made from 100 percent recycled materials, every red gift box comes with tissue paper. At this time, gift boxes are not available for footwear and equipment (i.e., tents, sleeping bags, packs) categories.
