Details
Our classic waterproof, hooded rain jacket is designed with upgraded features to keep you dry in spring 2013 and beyond. This fully seam-sealed jacket is constructed of breathable nylon HyVent® technology with a soft, dry-touch barrier to eliminate the need for a lining. Stuff this highly compressible outer layer into its own hand pocket and carry it in your pack for accessible protection during a downpour. The Velcro® storm flap covers the full-zip front to shut out wind and rain. A Napoleon chest pocket securely closes with a waterproof zipper to keep small personal items dry. Pit-zip vents allow you to instantly dump excess heat and cool down during stages of high-energy activity. A soft, brushed collar provides next-to-skin comfort when the jacket is fully zipped. The adjustable hood has a hidden drawcord system to create a close fit around your head that remains low profile. Tighten the hem cinch-cord to seal out the draft in chilly weather.

Technology
A waterproof, breathable technology utilizing a polyurethane (PU) coating that consists of a tri-component, multi-layer formula for waterproof protection, moisture permeability and durability. HyVent® technology has been lab- and field-tested to ensure the best possible durability and function while also maintaining an optimum level of breathability. To test the level of waterproofness, we subjected HyVent® garments to 20 wash cycles, where garments retained an average of more than 60 PSI on the waterproofing Mullens test.
