Realizing colors play a large roll in reflecting or absorbing heat, each side of this jacket is deliberately a certain color to aid in heat retention or loss. When worn with the silver side out, 39-47 percent more of the sun's rays are reflected than worn with the black side out. Worn black side out, the bend of the quilted baffles flex to hug your body, creating an uninterrupted barrier that increases the body's temperature. When worn with the silver side out, baffles flex outward, opening up the baffles to create gaps where heat can escape.
The end result: a technically advanced reversible jacket that keeps you wildly warmer or cooler depending on how you wear it.
