About this product
Designed in part with extreme downhill pioneer and Steep Tech™ athlete Scot Schmidt, this new heritage jacket is like no other. Made with waterproof, breathable HyVent® fabric on the exterior, this retro-inspired jacket is insulated with a lofty 600 fill down, and features indestructible Kevlar®-reinforced fabric overlays on shoulders for extreme durability. Designed for twin-tip rippers, this sleek alpine jacket includes power-hound features such as interior pockets for goggles and tunes, and an easy-access bicep pocket.
Designed in part with The North Face® athlete and extreme skiing pioneer, Scot Schmidt, the geometric Steep Tech™ logo is derived form something Joseph Campbell (an American mythologist) used in his lectures. Schmidt says, “I believe he called it the ‘Sphere of the Physique’. It represents a healthy balance between the mind, body and soul. The outer circle represents the body. The center dot represents your soul. The line separates your ego from your source (soul).”

Men's Fit Guide
1. NECK
Measure the neck circumference where a standard button type collar might be fastened.
2. CHEST
Measure the chest circumference at the fullest point keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
3. WAIST
Measure the waist circumference at the smallest part of the waist, often at or above the belly button, keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
4. HIP
Measure the hip circumference at the fullest part of the seat, keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
5. SLEEVE LENGTH
Measure the distance from the prominent bone at center back neck, across the shoulder, over the bent elbow to the center of the wrist bone.
6. INSEAM TO FLOOR
Measure the distance from the crotch point to the floor.
