1. Plant
As the foot lands on the ground, it is crucial for the shoe to absorb shock and immediately recognize and accommodate the runner’s tendencies.
2. Roll
The athlete's forward momentum drives the foot into the next stage, where it may effortlessly head directly forward or tend toward a medial (pronated) or lateral (supinated) lean. The North Face® Footwear compensates for a mechanical tendency by guiding the stride toward a more neutral plane.
3. Drive
Combined with muscular drive, the athlete’s momentum migrates into the forefoot. Properly supported, it spring up and forward with maximum efficiency, propelling the athletes into a moment of seeming weightlessness just before the next PlantRollDrive™.
